Burnett Mary Regional Group for Natural Resource Management (BMRG) is a not for profit, non-government organization that represents the combined interests of government, Traditional Owners, industry and community groups and manages investment in the delivery of natural resource management outcomes for the Burnett Mary region.

Our coastal community engagement programs and other initiatives such as the Great Sandy Biosphere, where Fraser Island is recognized as a core area, support the efforts of coastal community groups who are best placed to protect and enhance our coastal and marine environments.

BMRG provides facilitation and support for a wide range of activities being undertaken by FINIA members to maintain the integrity of Fraser Island’s natural environment.
