QUT ecologists have started developing field trip experiences for their biological and environmental science students on K’gari in collaboration with the Butchulla Aboriginal Corporation, and University of Sunshine Coast researchers. QUT ecologists are interested in collaborating to assist with research and practical projects on biosecurity, forest restoration and management on the island and on the impacts of tourism on ecological function.
